Studio Mintelier is Buckinghamshire-based interior design studio, committed to crafting considered, soulful interiors across the UK and beyond. Founder Catherine Chan-Murphy enjoyed an established career in arts management before rekindling her passion for interiors and qualified at the KLC School of Design. Combining solid technical skills, finesse in project management and flair for multi-cultural aesthetics, she has worked on high-end residential and commercial projects for leading design practices in London before launching her own studio in 2024, with the aspiration to offer high-quality, personalised design experience at an approachable level.

Your Interior Design Journey
Interior design is both a deeply personal journey yet a highly technical discipline. You might have a sense of what you would like to achieve, but lack the confidence or time; or you might already feel overwhelmed before taking the first step. Our collaborative approach helps discover your unique design personality and devise actionable plans that bring your vision to reality.
The design journey always begins with you - your home, your heritage and life stories. After thoroughly understanding your requirements, routines and lifestyle preferences, we will firstly focus on spatial planning and address any practical issues before exploring the general aesthetics. Not limiting to a signature style, the design schemes are developed with the expressive use of colours, patterns and textures, and create contemporary interiors with a sense of atmosphere, purpose and style. Each project is approached with immense care, and in favour of sourcing responsible products, repurposing, restoring and reupholstering wherever possible.
From styling a vignette, creating a room scheme to interpreting a complex scope, our aim is always to bring creativity and personality to each project, and to redefine your spaces with a fresh, elevated aesthetic that is fit for a life less ordinary.
